What Inspired Overshadowed Hope?
Every story begins with a question.
For Overshadowed Hope, the question was simple: How do we move forward after we've made mistakes we can never undo?
I wanted to explore the complicated emotions that come with grief, regret, forgiveness, and healing. Life rarely gives us neat endings or perfect resolutions. More often, we carry pieces of our past with us while trying to build a better future.
Missy's story grew from that idea. She is imperfect, wounded, and struggling to find her place in a life that feels increasingly fragile. Yet beneath the pain is something many of us understand—the desire to believe that healing is still possible.
Overshadowed Hope is ultimately a story about resilience. It's about learning that even when hope feels distant, it hasn't disappeared entirely.
Sometimes the hardest person to forgive is yourself.
